Why Is There So Much Hunger In Our World and Where Is God
No enlightenment comes but the people continue to believe, believe in what one has to wonder. How can a man woman or child believe in something holy and have anger in their heart for another person or animal? How many times do they continue carrying that anger to another level and hitting out with dire consequences?
Ignorance is not bliss as is often quoted. Ignorance is a curse, and that is why it is essential to seek now to gain as much knowledge as possible, because there is really so much to learn. Our civilisation is crying out for equality and justice but it is happening too slowly and every day millions suffer indignities that our civilized world should be angry those sufferings exist.
There have been so many times when I have wondered if there is a God, or what kind of God is He? Ok we have choices and we have consciences, but when it comes to money, all choices cease to exist. Now there exists a dilemma, who or what is God to allow such blatant cheating and disfiguring of the truth while smiling in the face of faith and or strength plus the portrayal of absolute honesty and all while in pursuit of the pleasurable magic of money.
I guess the truth was in the Spanish Inquisition or the behaviour of a British King when defied by the Pope and the resulting deaths of millions of Catholics, all in the name of F-A-I-T-H. In Ireland, we suffered the indignity of the deaths of millions of Irish men women and children, also in the name of faith, the Protestant faith.
It causes huge quantities of anger to think of all of these occurrences in the name of God. To this day worldwide, there are battles being waged in the name of God, both with artillery and boardroom antics. The end result is the same, the death of the poor and hungry, while the wealthy smile with their successes. Meanwhile back at the ranch the poor and hungry barely make it through another day, the fact is: some died, unknown and uncared for.
However, out there somewhere many volunteers cared and are crying because they were not on time, hopefully they will save more tonight so they will be stronger for the morrow that is softly approaching. Although in a starving nation, there is nothing soft about any of the circumstances but a harsh reality of hopelessness and starvation.
There is no safety in numbers when encased within the throes of a dogmatic tyranny as has been proved throughout all the ends of the earth right to this day. Nevertheless, there is insufficient change to really make a difference in the lives of ordinary people who just want to dwell in peace and have enough food so kids will not die of starvation.
There must be something that could be done especially as there is enough food in the world to feed everyone. The ironic thing about all of this is if the starving nations and peoples were fed, educated and taught life survival skills, the benefits to world economics would be amazing.
New markets would open up as each new economy took hold and became strong. The governments in these countries would have to be forced to change no excuse about it at all. The strength of every country depends on their commitment to change and help their people, those who decline are pushed out of office and new governments founded.
It is essential that in the cases of abuses tough measures for tough situations have to be called for and enacted, as we have witnessed lately throughout the Middle East. Amazingly, the demonstrations in Egypt are actually quite respectable without excessive casualties considering the magnitude of their complaints.
When we want tot remove stains from clothes what do we do but use bleach based products. However what do we do when we want to remove destructive stains from society, we grant them immunity or shout human rights, but their victims were denied the privilege of rights, how curious we are.
Where is God, is an unanswered question but actually God has instructed us to attend to the misfortunate among us but government leaders fail to recognize this. Our primary function is to ensure change comes about through elections with mandates and encouragement making sure provisions will be legalized to assure the poor and other segments of society they will not be abandoned. God is here within us not sitting on his throne in some far off fancy castle and all we have to do is embrace him and allow change to emanate. God bless!
