George Killians Irish Red Pub Table
Lush green rolling hills and the sound of faint folk music in the background punctuated by that unique Irish brogue. That is the sounds of Ireland my friend, a friendly little place known for quaint country pubs and dancing elves. Where mist and mystery meet in the hills and the luck o, the Irish just might find you. Bring a little of it home today with a "George Killians Irish Red Pub Table". Let your home be known for hospitality and friendship much like the wonderful Irish traditions that brought us fantastic lagers, ales and Pub Table Sets.
Created in the hills of Ireland in a little town called Enniscorthy was George Killian's Iris Red. It was here that George Killian Letts great grandfather discovered that the soil and climate of his beloved Ireland was perfect for growing barley, and barley when cooked precisely makes a great basis for caramelized malted brew. The distinct red color of this original Irish lager is not a product of additives, the roasting process of the malted barley gives it the intense red color as well as its full-bodied fruity flavor. The tradition of Killians Irish Red dates back to 1864.
Enjoy the beautiful ruby red emblem on your very own "George Killians Irish Red Pub Table" The emblem is a representation of all the things that were important to the Killian family. Not the least of which is the Irish town in which the brew was founded. On every Pub Style Tables label, you will find the name Enniscorthy, a lovable shade of red and the noble steed.
In the early years, the Killian family raised horses in addition to making fine malt liquor. Before there were automobiles, the Killian horse and dray would travel the countryside providing drink to the hard working men in the barley fields of Wexford. Even once the automobile was, plentiful George's grandfather would often say that a horse was better than a car any day. His theory was "a horse can always find its way back from the pub to the brewery even if its driver no longer can".
If you were to ask the Killian Family about their move to Enniscorthy they would say the were indeed blessed to find a country that was so perfect for raising beautiful horses and even better barley. A land of poets and castles George was known to say if he had been born anywhere else, George Killians Irish Red might never have existed.
Now I will not promise you the luck o the Irish when you add "George Killians Irish Red Pub Table" to your game room, but you will definitely have some Irish tales to tell. Even if you cannot, speak in that delectable brogue. What you will surely have one of the great Modern Pub Tables built to last.
Bring home one of these Tall Pub Tables that represent one of the last independent breweries in the great land of Ireland, the original brewery closed in 1956, but the tradition was carried on first in France and now in the United States thanks to the Coors company. Listen closely and you may still here the faint sounds of an Irishman singing to the barley.
