WHY STUDY IN IRELAND?
Ireland has a long and honorable tradition in education. As a result of a sustained investment in this area Ireland now has one of the highest educational participation rates in the world - 81% of Irish students complete second-level and approx 50% go on to higher education. This dynamic, educated population has made its mark at home and abroad with international companies looking to Ireland for hiring graduates for top notch positions. Education is considered a fundamental right under the Irish constitution. In recent years the focus has expanded to include pre-school education and adult and further education as the concept of lifelong learning becomes reflected in the education opportunities available within the Irish education system.
Education System
As far as education for International students is concerned; Ireland is an emerging country, which is now spreading its divisions. With students seeking new frontiers for higher education, Ireland has emerged as a very promising country because of two strengths - the medium of instruction and cheaper costs.
Irish universities offer program right from the Certificate level to the Doctoral level, and in almost all fields of study. Engineering and Technology are two areas that are quite popular among international students. One surprising fact is that Ireland is touted to be the largest exporter of IT software, worldwide. HIGHER STUDY provides total assistance and guidance about the education system in Ireland, studying at all levels in your country of choice and plan your total process, right from pre-application to visa, in a professional and result-oriented manner.
Education Cost
At the Bachelor's level, the average cost of engineering education in Ireland is between 9,500-13,000 Euros. Tuition fee for most the undergraduate courses is 10,000-14,000 approx, however Postgraduate courses would cost you around 6,000-12,000 Euros per year.
Additionally accommodation, living expenses, books and other miscellaneous expenditure would come to approx. 6,000-8,000 Euros, per year depending upon the living standard of the student.
All Full-time International students are allowed to work up to 20 hours, part-time per week during the term time and full-time while vacations as per the law of Ireland with any restrictions.
Climate And Clothing
Ireland’s climate is mild. The daytime temperature in winter rarely goes below -2° and in Summer temperatures above 22° are rare. However the climate can be damp and chilly and warm, waterproof clothing is recommended

Ireland's economy is thriving with new industries being created and cities being revitalised with millions being invested in regeneration. There is a new cultural vitality, pride and optimism. Instead of emigrating, our brightest graduates are staying. Tourism is thriving too, with our moderate climate and world famous hospitality, scenery and quality of life - it's a great place to live.
Today the people of Northern Ireland are confidently looking forward to building a new future together. We are casting off the old troubled image and are proud to show off a fresh new face to the world.
