The Warrior Men's Wedding Bands
These are very attractive male wedding rings, the design is from the Ardagh chalice. The Ardagh chalice is believed to be one of the earliest example of this type of craftsmanship. Although there is no defined meaning attached to the designs on the chalice, the warrior ring has found its own associations. The warrior ring has become associated with loyalty and strength; so a great choice for any groom.
The Claddagh Men's Wedding Bands
The Claddagh ring was originally given by a man to a woman, however over the years it has become more unisex. The Claddagh contains the hands of friendship, the heart of true love and the crown of loyalty; hence wonderfully suitable for either a man or a woman. Most grooms are choosing to have the Claddagh design engraved into a gold band, rather than the band formed into the symbols of the Claddagh.
The Knots And Twists Men's Wedding Bands
These designs have a simpler meaning than the other two designs; the entwining of two people. The designs for the knots and twists vary hugely and can be as intricate or simple as you wish. Many Celitc jewellers will have their own personalised twist and knot designs.
So often a wedding seems to be about the bride, and this also applies to the rings. Many hours of choosing will go into the brides ring, however, the men's wedding bands often almost seemed an afterthought.
It can be difficult for men to choose their wedding ring as many guys will never have worn a ring before. For this reason it is important to spend time to choose something which the groom actually likes.
