This year the festival will take place between the 2nd and 11th of July. Thousands of families from all over Europe flock to this festival to enjoy the artistic and cultural events that are very much planned with families in mind. Little ones will love the Teddy Bear's picnic and the Grand Prix Duck Race; sporty kids can take part in the Powerade and Junior Triathlons; and teenagers can choose from auditioning for ‘Mayo's Got Talent' at Hotel Ballina or the ‘Teenage Blast in the Yard' at Kilcullens Yard. Mum and Dad won't be bored either: there is a Heritage Day, fireworks displays, music concerts and the All-Ireland Pipeband Championships.

While the kids are kept busy, adults can enjoy arts and live music and learn about Coolaney's rural heritage.
